India's International Water Event was conceptualized in 2012 as a flagship event with the name India Water Week to address global water challenges, promote sustainable development and showcase innovative solutions. Over the years, it has become a premier platform bringing together policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, and communities from across the globe. Eight editions of event with the name of India Water Week (IWW) have been organized since beginning in year 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2024. This event will now be organized as India International Water Week (IIWW).
